I loved this movie. I really wasn't going to watch it. But I bought it after I did. Really good and they both of the stars did an awesome job. I would of given 5 stars. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

I am a Johnny Cash fan, so I had high hopes going in. And I was not disappointed. Great performances throughout, especially by Reese Witherspoon in a break from her normal type of role. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

Well done. Enjoyed the reality displayed in the struggle with addition to chemicals. No fluff there. There was chemistry between the actors. Very refreshing to see a well played movie of discovery and journey without the entitlement of our generation... WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

gotta love a story about johnny cash. joaquin was made for this role and who knew reece could sing. i love that girl. it kinda got a little long but i think it was done on purpose and done very well WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

Read MoreI loved this movie! It took me a while to get it because Im not a fan of this type of music but Im glad I did. I think its a great love story. Although Johnny had an addiction to drugs his love for June was always apparent. Reese also did a wonderful job and portrayed June as a very loving and caring women. I must say that both Joaquin and Reese did an amazing job with the singing. I saw this ... Read MoreI knew I wanted to see this movie as soon as I knew about it, but my schedule prevented me from having time until recently. As soon as I saw it, I had to buy the movie and the soundtrack. I saw this movie because I have been a fan of Johnny and June since I was about 6 years old, and I remember when Johnny and June were finally married! After seeing this movie, I am now a Joaquin Phoenix fan as well! Not only his superb, oscarworthy acting, but his singing! He is an excellent musician, and he certainly did Johnny justice in his portrayal. It is a travesty that he did not win the oscar for this. Together, Joaquin and Reese brought this beautiful story of a 'match made in heaven' to life for their audience. Thank you Joaquin and Reese! Rent and enjoy, Johnny and June fans!
