Read MoreThe film is disjointed stories of everyday people. I love the awkward moments of interaction between characters that make the movie as much a comedy as it is a drama. There are scenes between the psychiatrist and the businessman that are hilarious. Every story will suck you in. It does take a bit of patience at first. At times Danny Leiner will show but a minute thirty of one of the stories and switch to the other. He's very smart about the shots, but it slows the movie down. I know that the year after 9/11 setting was supposed to be significant, but I enjoyed it because of the characters. I found the message of the movie to be that life goes on. The movie is described as showing how people are living post-9/11; however, at no point does it show this in the movie other than dates leading up to it over a span of about a week. We rarely ever turn off movies, but this was one of them. After 15 minutes their was no plot or direction...so we gave up. Too bad since their are some great actors in this movie. I'd skip this ...
