I wasn't that wild about the story line. I don't think this is a classic, but if you have little kids, it would be fine.

Let me say one thing: this movie won't change any lives. It isn't amazing. But there's really something to be said for brevity. Minus titles and credits, Valiant is a 72 minute movie, at most. It has a cute premise, an all-star British cast (is John Cleese in EVERY movie from the UK?), and is well animated. What more can you ask for? P.S. This movie may be a half-star overrated due to my man-crush on both Ewan McGregor and Ricky Gervais. I figure you deserve full disclosure. :-)

I loved the way it explained the important role that pigeons played in World War II. They did a great job going where no pigeon has gone before.

This movie was a great segway into teaching my kids about WWI and WWII. It was also a pretty good movie, even for adults. Predictable but good. Worth watching a second time. On a very positive note there are no big musical numbers which are the scourge of Disney movies....unless you count John Cleese's character singing "Hail Brittania" for a few bars.

For all of you rating this movie as it was meant for adults , you must remember its a kids movie . Not all kids movies are written to entertain parents alike ( like the Shrel series ). Great animation , cute characters and the colors are vivid enough to keep the attention of even the youngest viewer .
