I was really prepared for some half-witted chick movie with no plot, but this movie turned out to be strong on family relationships, loyalty and love. My wife and I both enjoyed it. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

The characters are great and the acting ... Read MoreI'll admit, the only thing initially keeping my attention on this movie were the continuous scenes of Diaz in her panties. But before I knew it, I was hooked. The characters are great and the acting is really good. For the first time ever, I can actually say I liked Shirley MacLaine in a movie. It doesn't push the old "relationships between sisters are unique" message, and accomplishes a simple but too often forgotten goal: it's genuinely entertaining. Overall, I thought it was a pretty good storyline & I love the "My Marsha" scene at the restaurant with Cameron Diaz & her sister.
