I too, was surprised by the movie and I too, can't stand Cameron Diaz so I almost didn't rent it, but I've liked Toni Collette since Muriel's Wedding and Shirley Maclaine has found a niche playing the crusty old woman since Terms. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed the movie - despite Cameron Diaz. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

This was a good movie but it took too long for the story to start to gel which is why I can't quite give this 4 stars. I AM happy that I hung in there with it though as I enjoyed it. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes
