This movie is one of a kind. I loved it when I was young and I still love it now. I wouldn't call it "excellent for children". There were a couple of parts in it that used to scare me when I was little because I didn't understand them. But I still loved it when I was little and think of it as a classic today. You'll never see anything that compares to it :o)
