I rented this because I'm on a mission to see all of Audrey Tautou's movies. I love Foreign films and have never had a problem with watching a movie with subtitles. The problem with this movie is that, since it is a musical, the subtitles go by very quickly and a lot of the songs' words are lost in translation. I probably would have enjoyed it more if I could speak french fluently. Not really worth one's time otherwise.

I like musicals and french movies but this was sort of like an older movie but it was not and it seemed too old fashioned. I did not finish it.
