This one was not nearly as well done and the first movie. Then again, that always happens

I found the plot of this movie to be more interesting and memorable than the first one. I think, however, that you'd want to see the original first so that you "know" the characters. As I said with the original, the dialog is actually much ore elegant and clever in French. The English tells the story, but you can admire the French!

Jean Reno is the master of the French action genre. The film has everything the American moviegoer demands in the best of the blockbusters: comic relief, suspense, intrigue, mystery, great fight scenes, and amazing stunts. Christopher Lee adds that air of chilling near terror to the film with superb acting and grace. After seeing the first Crimson Rivers, one wonders what could possibly be in a sequel that could be better, and yet part two is more of everything we liked in part one.

You should be worried when the french attempt to make an American style movie. This is what you get when you see "Crimson River". It's the story of a supposed coming of the Apocolypse. The signs seem to be there, people dying in line with biblical references. However, in the end, you realize that it's nothing more than an overzealous German trying to "re-whiten" Europe. Reno plays the cop that uncovers the plot. Although it doesn't come together in a coherent format, a little credit is given for effort. Vous etes francais... restez comme ca!!!

Too many plot holes, really lame...just watch the first one, which is at least a little better. Only cool thing is the cinematography

Not my type of movie. I lost interest in it pretty quick. Not a whole lot of suspense in my eyes.

I think this movie was even better than the first one.I realy like french movies, because i am from Europe too.You would not belive it how many movies were first made in France, and than Hollywood made it too.The only bad thing was about it ,the audio in english. They don't care too much,to find the right voice for the actors. They talk like they would just read it.I think that kills it a litle bit...
