It is real. It gets to the heart of the characters and the character of Harlan is fascinating and mysterious. Although you suspect he may not be the best person in the world, I found myself pulling for him. It will definitely keep you thinking long after the film is over. We need more films like this one. This was a slow moving movie. The ideas were a little weird and it really never went anywhere. Lots of violence and some blood. I probably wouldn't advise renting this movie. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

My wife and I both liked the twists and turns of this movie and were saddened by how dysfunctional everyone was: the dad, the kids, and of course the main character WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes
