I enjoy political thrillers, therefore was looking forward to this. The underlying storyline was good, however, I believe it would have been done to make a little more exciting and suspenseful. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

Read MoreThis movie confirmed two things for me #1 Sean Penn can not act (no suprise there) and #2 After Moulin Rouge and The Others Nicole Kidman has decided to star in some dull films! Which sucks because shes such a talented actress. This film is very, VERY slow paced and dull, and it just drags on and on and on. By the end of the film I wanted to slam twelve cups of coffee just to stay awake and focused. In my opinion if you want a good political film stick with The Manchurian Candidate! Read MoreThis is a well designed movie of political caption that keeps you wondering who the assassin is or how things will play out. Some slow parts, but your mind stays in tune while trying to figure out what this relates to in the plot. Most sequences provide input into the next and give historical perspective to the political events taking place. Kidman does a very good job and Penn is questionable.
