Five Sides of a Coin  (2003)

I watched this movie with a group of people who did not know anything about hiphop except that it was music and music they did not really like. I love hiphop. After this movie a lot of these same people were blown away because they realized hiphop was something entirely different than what they assumed. I love this movie because it shows hiphop from the street which is where hiphop came from. It ain't another hiphop movie with a bunch of rich mega stars who don't even live hiphop, this one is all about the old cats who created, the new cats that rock it and even the square cats that can't feel it...or maybe they just don't get it. Maybe if they saw this movie they would! It's much better than the other BET, VH1 hiphop movies and maybe it's because they DIDN'T spend all that money and they had to do it from the streets. I recommend this to anyone and everyone, whether you love hiphop or you hate it. I guarantee everyone will feel this.
