Read More Imagine Christian Bale so into playing this role that he lost over 60 pounds! He was so skeletal like, that it was difficult to look at him at times, especially remembering how buff he was in 'American Psycho'. This film took you to the dark places in the main characters mind. We wonder why he can't eat and why he's been unable to sleep for a year. You can guess why from the several clues left for the audience throughout the movie. The acting was well-done from Christian and the others he associated with in his world.
If you like watching suspenseful films-you'll love this one. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

Read More Trevor Rezniik is getting thinner and thinner, unfortunately so does the movie. Bale acted by Christian Dale hasnt slept in, but what seems like a year, and the effects from his lack of sleep become tragic. Fellow mechanist Michael Ironsides pays a heavy price for his lack of concentration, which is what jump starts this black and white film. The movie is very slow paced and never seems to get to get on track. Simply..It drags along...I just finished watching the strange little film and what surprises me is that I cannot remember much about it. Perhaps this last sentence says a lot about this movie Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

Had some creepy parts though, some were unbelievable and far fetched and never went anywhere. Wouldn't watch it again. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

It was difficult for me to get over watching such a hunk of a man shed down to skin and bones for this role. It's worth watching, just don't eat before hand. I found it to be incrediably boring. I was finally blessed to fall asleep, unfortunately it wasn't till close to the end. Where I would usually go back & finish it, in this case I didn't bother. I think I'll check the reviews a little closer next time. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No |
