Read MoreI thought the acting, writing and directing were all wonderful. I thought the movie did a great job of exploring the complexities of mental illness and comming to terms with it both as it effects you directly and indirectly. The story of both sisters was moving and although the movie has an overall dark overtone, I found that necessary to the film. Brilliant. This drama is heart-warming, intelligent, and even inspiring. It is incredibly well acted. This is a good film to watch when you want a little inspiration.

Read MoreI love math but then the movie isn't about math that's just part of the main aspects of the movie. As well as relationships with people, sick or healthy, related or non-related. I do wish the end would have been a bit more different, seemed so suttle compared to the rest of the movie. I do like how they filmed it flipping back and forth from reality to her thoughts, it was confusing at first but then I got the hang of it quickly. All it shows is how are brain REALLY works and how it thinks which is just like that it jumps, I only know this because I have taken classes and read studies on the brain. And the sister you will want to definatly slap, if you havent seen it you will see why. I think actors were great and Hopkins and Paltrow played the psyco/normality/love roles well. Awful movie. Boring, depressing. Was drawn in by the big names and regret wasting my time on this. The more I see Gwyneth Paltrow, the less impressed I am with her work. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes
