Good story of relationship between Tony Blair and Gordon Brown.
Director Frear (also of The Queen) interview helpful to understanding of the history and the filming itself.

This film was brilliant in the same manner as the Queen..Michael Sheen does
the same memorable performance as he did in the Queen and you really believe
that this is actually Tony Blair! Equally well done is the performance by David
Morrissey as Gordon Brown. Of course much of the credit is attributable to
the brilliant director Stephen Frears who also did the Queen..I love reading
about British history from the early days..especially during the reign of
Winston Churchill and before..I believe I'm more familiar with British than
American history perhaps because I did live and work in England a number of
years ago. First rate filming 41/2 stars!! I wish more American films were of
this quality!! Close this Review
