This movie was so enjoyable, a real delight. One of the best I have seen in a long time. Dermot and Debra were both so good in this movie. Dermot, well what can I say, he is One Sexy Man!!! A must see, especially for the romantic. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No
3 out of 4 people found this review helpful A sweet little movie - also sweet was Dermot Mulroney's tushie. In fact his bare tushie makes up for hoaky eye-rolling lines like: "I think I'd miss you even if we had never met".WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

Read More This could have been presented as a dynamite movie--cute plot but lacked substance! The script/costume designer must have been one and the same because even the clothes didn't match with the, for all appearances upper middle class, people who wore them. Also, unnecessary over-the-top sex scenes. (Gee, wonder where the director's mind was? ha ha) The only thing that saved it was the fact that Debra Messing was in it! The plot was more than implausible; the relationship between the main characters made no sense. Debra's character was a neurotic, insecure flake. Her family was ridiculously over the top. Why on earth would a successful, good looking professional male escort fall in love with such a wishy washy woman with whom he had spent absolutely no quality time? Even in similar romance movies such as "How to Lose a Guy in 10 days", the main characters spent time getting to know and care for each other. These two barely even saw each other during the movie. And Debra's sister, the bride, was a back-stabbing slut. Why would the groom even want to marry her? I can't believe how bad this movie was. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No
4 out of 7 people found this review helpful This movie wasn't good. Its unlikely that someone as pretty as Debra Messing would need to hire a male hooker for a wedding date. Also hookers generally aren't so refined and well educated. This movie was bad. Don't bother.WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

Read More This movie (let's face it the romantic comedy genre) suspends belief in reality most films and expects us to deny our survival instincts. Thus a lying, cheating tearful bride-to-be gets a 2nd chance to lie, cheat and betray. And, a hooker with a heart of gold gets the girl. And, we learn that being shallow and dumping someone to upgrade is "ok" because that person will find love with a sleazy character. And, my sister lies and takes my boyfriend, but through mascara-ruined eyes, I will overlook it all. Why is it, the good romantic comedies have gay characters? [this one doesn't] Sorry "Will". Sorry "Jack". Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No |
