Kingdom of Heaven is a great movie. The cast was well selected, and the producers did a good job of depicting the historical interpretation of what the Crusades were. It showed how cruel and evil the Knights Templars were. But the film also showed the braveness of the Crusaders (Those who followed Tiberius and under the command of Balian) who protected Jerusalem for the good of the people and peace between Muslims, Christians (Catholics and Orthodox), and Jews. I am sure those who see it will enjoy it.

Excellent Movie, Well Acted by all actore. Orlando Bloom is excellent in the movie. Story is an Epic and seems like it was condensed a lot - would have like to have seen and heard a bit more details - but I understand that it has to fit into a particular time frame to attract people to it. I may purchase this movie after it has been out a while.

Seems like Orlando Bloom is taking the 21st century placement for E. Flynn, the high flying, swashbucking, swordsman of the big screen in the 20th century. His take as a man-who-would-be-lord set during the Crusades is an excellent inner look at man's morality and the deeper meaning of life. The war strategies used during the film were also excellent. Someone's done their homework. I'm not going to go so far as to say it was "perfect to detail", but it's a lot closer than most films pretend to be. So if you like medival war movies, movies with a philosophical backbone, or just plain love Orlando Bloom, this is the movie for you. Thankfully, I like all three. This was awesome.

Excellent! It's a Crusade-period drama that packs a lot of punch for everyone. There's action and romance and lots of character development. This is one that parents should sit down with their kids to enjoy, as it will spark questions of history and lacks the usual offensive material that parents should steer kids from. More important, it provides examples of how men should behave in the midst of adversity. Good story, and good tone, and good pace. Highly recommended for renting or adding to your collection.

Christmas Love

I enjoyed the Kingdom of Heaven, for the battles but I do not know if it was true to history as to what did happen.

Bad melodrama in which Ripley Scott gives full reign to his penchant for heavy-handed moralism.

Dreadful. Profoundly anti-Christian it also leaves you wondering why anyone living in the Middle Ages just didn't slit their wrists when they got up in the morning and put an end to all the dreary unhappiness the film asserts was their daily lot in life plus an idiotic ending more suitable for chidren in the 1950's than adults today.
