This one took me by absolute suprise. I never saw the spiders coming and found that to be a refreshing twist to the movie. It had a good plot and I enjoyed the acting.

I read the book to my kids and we loved it. We also loved this movie. The acting was good! What were they complaining about? I've heard Frank Peretti speak, and read from his own books, and his Algernon is tame in comparison! It is a fully enjoyable movie. My only complaint is how much of God was taken out. It was good and clean, but there was a lot more power in the strength of the family's relationship with God. I hope to see Nightmare Academy in movie form, but there's no way to do it and lessen God's part in it. Frank Peretti's books are perfect for movies!

For a PG 13 horror film ..it's not bad but some stuff that goes on in this movie is so unrealistic. But then what do you expect from a horror flim right? The big down side to this movie is that it goes from being a just okay movie to being horrible like 2/3 in. It started okay and ends on a bad note..

As a Frank Peretti fan, I enjoyed his book finally coming to film. Acting is acceptable but not supurb. As in so many books that come to film, there are significant changes to the ending. Excellent for churches and Christian schools. Good to demonstrate ethical decisions among teens. I recommend this one!

Pretty good...interesting twist at the end as to how but predictable as to who. Interesting enough to hold my interest and take me away from regular tv night.
