Innocent victims is a two part mini series. The first half was great. I have not seen the second half because Blockbuster online rentals only offers the 135 min. first half.

Very interesting story, but factually true. For political reasons, or conceit, on the part of some individuals in law enforcement or the justice system, the innocent suspects sometimes get railroaded into doing a crime because law enforcement want to solve a crime at all expense. Recommended to audience who don't mind long court dramas.

Sep 2008 a 3rd trial is underway !!! BTW, Both halves of movie are available on disc. New DNA evidence, made possible by analysis of Old DNA samples has prompted the Fayetteville, NC authorities to contact the US Army. The unconfirmed rumor is that the new evidence is a high probability semen match. Since NC can not prosecute a 3rd time, the Army has returned Henis to active duty and he is awaiting trial, by the Army, at Ft Bragg on the 3 murder charges. Hennis had returned to the Army after his 2nd trial and reached the rank of MSG E-8 after a successful military career. A search under "Fayetteville Observer and Hennis Murder Trial" will take you to a website with all of the new information. This movie was intriguing from the perspective of an innocent man accused and convicted, now we are no longer certain.

Innocent Victims was a good movie but it was too long and too drawn out. They could have made it a 2 hour movie and moved things right along.
