Read More Sadly a well acted and directed movie with a well crafted "cute" retro "Pink Panther style" opening and oddly standard 2007 adventure film content. Worth watching, but if you want Bond (as my wife and I did) you may be stuck watching the older ones for quite a while. I do hope they bring back the "Bond franchise film" as that is what we had hoped to see, instead we received yet another sensitive, new age, politically correct adventure flick made for a tame US audience. Nonehteless, at the end of the day, Connery defined the role. Craig has got me interested in the franchise and I am eager to see him grow into the role. Nice choice for Felix Leiter too. Read More Daniel Craig has proven to be the best Bond since Sean Connery, and some say this is the best Bond film since Goldfinger. The franchise owners decided to "restart" the Bond tale, so this one is Bond's "first" assignment (taking place today) and it's as if none of the other Bond films have happened yet. Once you get past that, this film features all of the classic Bond elements, including one of the best, exciting on-foot chase scenes, one that even surpasses the typical car chases! Craig returns Bond to the style of Connery as well. The opening titles and title song are still disappointing though. Bring back the nude women with projected images and the female vocals. Daniel Craig showed his ironic character as real Bond ( no string attach), not as Pierce Brosnan (fully stunt man character in Bond) and too much video effect.
Look like we start to enjoy new adventure of 007; with full action scenes and explosion and beautiful woman next to James Bond.
