He's not the typical pretty boy ala Brosnan or Moore. Instead he showed great versatility as tough guy with a real vulnerable side, playing a 'younger' Bond still learning to curb his 'do or die' impulses. This Bond leans on his fists more than his wit, but that fits the character as this is supposed to be Bond in his early years, before he became the suave and sophisticated world weary agent. Craig does to Bond what Chris Bale did to the Batman franchise - he gave it a more grounded, contemporary, noirish twist. The movie had one of the most action packed intros that left me breathless. Great stunt choreography and pacing in this movie. The villain was played superbly by Mads Mickelsen(sp?) (great in After the Wedding), but the writers should have given him more material to work with. Can't wait to see this new Bond grow his talents in the future, including the use of fancy gadgets(pleeze!). Close this ReviewWAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

As a longtime Bond lover I was skeptical seeing a new actor. But what a great new Bond. I liked then story and the way Daniel Craig played Bond. I saw the big screen theater one and bought the DVD. I canât wait to see the next one. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes
