Read MoreThe internet-involved CRY_WOLF made some news (and a little cash) for being a PG-rated slasher film when it was released theatrically. Now, on video, it's un-rated, which probably means a bit more blood. Not that much, however, and most of it is shown in some kind of super-color saturated negative resolution, which distances the reality. The plot is initially interesting then gets bogged down in the usual slasher clichés but picks up a bit toward the end with some twists. You'll probably hang on, if only to discover who's behind what. Brit Julian Morris and Lindy Booth ("Wrong Turn," "Dawn of the Dead"--Synder version) do a nice job in the leads. Look for Jon Bon Jovi, Gary Cole (sporting a Brit accent) and Anna Deavere Smith in smaller roles. Doug Liman is credited among the many producing names. Hmmmm

Legitimate suspense is built and it does keep you guessing ... Legitimate suspense is built and it does keep you guessing right up until the overall satisfying ending. I wasn't blown away but I was certainly entertained throughout and for that, you have to consider this one above average. Jeff Wadlow's definitely on my watch list now. Altough Cry_Wolf was pretty good, if u rent this dvd, you musn't miss The Tower of Babble on the special features. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

THIS MOVIE WAS ALRIGHT. I`VE SEEN MCH , MUCH WORSE. IT HAD A GOOD TWIST IN THE END.NOT THE BEST BUT IT`S WORTH YOUR TIME. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

I was expecting something different when I saw this film. If you are expecting more gore and action, this is not a film for you.
