Great movie! I liked the Machinist better, but the psycho drama in the Jacket was interesting. Sort of like the Butterfly Effect but not as lovey dovey in it's intent.

Starts off good, and flows really well, keeps you on your toes, BUT throughout this movie you have to be patient, alot of the questions you might have get answered as you go through the movie. The only thing I wish they would have expanded more on is how what happens to him in the drawer happens. But overall the movie was fun and suspenseful! Basically, this guy goes through alot of trauma, forgets some things, is convicted for a crime he doesn't believe he committed, is experimented on by some doctor in the prison, and he ends up going through some "adventures" in his head where the powers above help him, and help those who's path he's crossed. Girl Interrupted meets Back to the Future. But again, not in the same class, this movie lacks the flashy bells and whistles you'd see in a $100 million movie. This budget was more around the Blair Witch 2 budget.

Psychological storyline - sad and sometimes interesting but storyline not as tight as it could be, though maybe intended that way. Adrien Brody's performance however was top notch.

Hard to follow in the begining. Depressing but was an OK movie

A little slow... a little disjointed. I wont see it again. I'm glad I didn't pay movie theater prices to see it. But it was an ok rental.

Really bad, don't waste your time. Story takes way to long to develop any interest. Terminated on boredom.

Waste of time, won't rent it a second time.
