It was a funny ... Read More If you allow yourself to disavow the poor writing and obvious plot issues, the actors and director have made a silly but hilarious action-drama that I really did enjoy. It was a funny surprise...despite what other viewers have commented. "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" was a funny, action drama that I had assumed it would only be about sex and action, especially coming from two the actors and their recent movie histories, but their obvious romantic appeal and natural comedic abilities had shown through to the big screen. I found myself continuously laughing and rewinding the scenes to re-watch one hilarious moment after another. That alone made me happy to be watching, and not feel as if I had wasted my time. Despite the improbably plot line and impracticality of the failed writing, these two actors and their director created a premise, a failing marriage, as a good setup. It allowed me, the viewer, enough of a hint of believability to enjoy a surprisingly funny action movie. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No | ||

After reading other reviews, I was prepared to hate it, but I didn't I found it quite amusing, and you can sure see the chemistry between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie in this film. Read More I thought this movie was very enjoyable from the start. The on-camera chemistry between Brad and Angelina was evident and lent a lot to the believability of the movie. Who else could be a decent enough match for Laura Croft herself? Awesome premise, executed very well. It is a witty allegory of married life in contemporary America. I don't own a gun, but could totally relate! My only complaint is the all girl agency Mrs. Smith worked for, it was a bit too "Charlies Angels". Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL?
