Read More I went into this movie with some skepticism because of all the mixed reviews. I consider myself a sort of movie buff, this movie I thought was highly entertaining and comical. I waited for the typical Producer/Director mistake of going just for the dark humor, the shock factor or the highly unsatisfying, backfiring twist, but I really think this movie would feed the entertainment bug of all ages (well, 13 on up). There was a great balance of action, romance, humor and violence. Very similar to War of the Roses as another reviewer said, except not as dark and hopeless. Also has a True Lies feel (Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jamie Lee Curtis). I love how the director catches the little facial expressions just when you think they hate each other's guts you see the expression and hmmm maybe not. Angelina Jolie.... hot! And the chemistry between the two is wow, yep, now I see why they hooked up. The ending in my mind was a little cheesy, but this movie is a MUST see! Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Read More I dont know how many of you remember War of the Roses but this film had a very strange similarity. Both homes get destroyed over a divorce, and they are both funny and quickly paced. However War of the Roses never got the attention that this movie has. Unfortunately most of the press was about a love triangle rather then the quality of the film. This movie brings a lot to the table, in as much as it is performed to perfection. Both Bitt and Jodies timing is extraordinary as they define the quality of their work. The only problem I had with the movie is that it seems to go on and on. I do think they could have eliminated two of the three false endings, otherwise this is a winner from start to finish.
