Read MoreI really liked this movie. It was Spy Vs. Spy in a family format. It was a humorous story that came together fairly well, and made sense. Two people that lived their lives in danger found passion with each other, then settled into a more boring and mundane life together. What does it take to rekindle that flame? They present an answer here, one that is both fun and realisitc (in one way). They have to find joy again, and this film shows that. Read MoreOkay, first off, I really love Brad Pitt's body of work. I have for years. He's great in this, too. I really love Angelina Jolie's body. I have for years. It's great in this, too. But the plot is absoloutely preposterous, especially the ending. Doug Liman is a master director of action sequences (check out "The Bourne Identity" if you don't believe) and he sells this movie hard. Vince Vaughn is wasted in his small comedic role, and there is very little to no character development of anybody, including the most unobservant spies in the history of the world. But on the strength of Pitt's performance, Jolie's body and Liman's direction, this movie was able to keep my attention, while not being able to suspend my disbelief. You know, this movie was in a way ... dull. However, the chemistry between Brad Pitt and Angelina is undeniable. I think the heat between the two made the movie enjoyable and believable in terms of marriage. Yes, the movie drags and you want it to end but the comedy keeps you awake and it was fun to watch two beautiful people in a shoot em up comedy/action film. Let us hope there is not a sequel though.
