In this adaptation of Ian Fleming's 1955 novel, James Bond (Roger Moore) must thwart Sir Hugo Drax (Michel Lonsdale), who plans to wipe out all of humankind and replace it with a super race that he has cultivated in a massive space station. The girl in the case is American secret agent Holly Goodhead, intelligently played by Lois Chiles. "Jaws," the steel-mouthed henchman played by Richard Kiel in The Spy Who Loved Me (1977), makes a return appearance in Moonraker, turning good guy (complete with a girlfriend of his own) in the process. Bernard Lee makes his last appearance as "M" in this most costly of James Bond's 1970s escapades. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

Roger Moore successfully leads another classic Bond flick. This one could also be titled Bond in Space. Absolutely a must see for any Bond fan, plus new bond fans can see that the Austin Powers series gets plenty of its ideas from this one.

After the sucess of "Star Wars" and "The Spy Who Loved Me", the Bond films try to meld the two together, with mixed results. Some good special effects (Although not "Star Wars" quality) but overall a dissiapointment.

Even though it is way over the top, this is one of the more watchable Roger Moore Bonds.

I love James Bond films, but did NOT like this one. The stunts and special effects were fine, but the plot was really lacking. There were so many times that I could not pretend to believe what was happening that it completely broke the "movie" experience. If the script had made sense, it would have been a good show.

This film has the best graphics compared to any other movie! Roger Moore continues to do well as James Bond. This is a film all Bond fans must see. If you haven't seen this yet, put it in your queue, immediatley.

Lame plot, goes on forever, JB dressed as a clown (???), circus performers beating up trained killers, three wheeled carts that do wheelies, need I go on.
