Read More This zipper head almost deprived all of us from ever seeing THE BOONDOCKS SAINTS In 88 minutes you get a good idea of how he managed too piss-off almost everyone in Hollywood, and take down all his friends with him, because his ego is as big as the planet Jupiter. Come to think of it that might be where he is from . . . Nah. My guess is Pluto. But his totally wacked attitude produce one of the best films that I have ever seen . . . FYI . . . See my review of the BOONDOCKS Saints. This is a very entertaining documentary, and a great two movie set with the aforementioned movie,. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

He's a self centered know-it-all with a talent for writing, but no people skills at all. This movie pretty much chronicles his failure, and like they were all saying in the beginning of the movie: He deserves everything that's coming to him. And How. Great Movie! Read More Troy Duffy is a musician, movie-maker and self-promoter who got a chance to turn a script he wrote (Boondock Saints)into a movie, while cross promoting his band and music. A documentary crew followed him around during the peak events of his career (1998-2001) capturing the events. Unfortunately he is/was a horrible human being, insensitive, selfish, egotistical and vain. Little by little he alienates everyone who worked with or befriended him. I hated the Troy Duffy I saw. Maybe he is a genius, but I disliked the man I saw here and he squandered any chance he had to improve his career/life. A difficult movie to see, but an interesting story . If he could clean himself up he might be able to take a step back and actualy look at himself threw sober eyes and see where he went wrong. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

How this film EVER found the funding it did is more tribute to the relentless marketing abilities of its maker than its less than marginal entertainment value.
MARVEL at the decidely UN-funny pre-pubescent humor.
LUXURIATE in the needless stream of senseless expletives.
WONDER how dumb and boring a movie as this EVER got made.
Badly written, badly acted and badly filmed.
If you're the kind of person who thinks that low budget, slacker garage movies represent the pinnacle of High Entertainment then THIS my friend is the film for you.
