The explosive X-Men motion picture trilogy officially draws to a close with this release that finds Rush Hour director Brett Ratner stepping in for Bryan Singer to tell the tale of a newly discovered mutant "cure," and the polarizing effect it has on mutant/man relations. With the pressure on mutants to give up their powers and pledge alliance with the human race reaching a critical turning point, Professor Charles Xavier (Patrick Stewart) urges tolerance and understanding as his nemesis Magneto (Ian McKellen) gathers a powerful resistance in preparation for the ultimate war against humankind. Hugh Jackman, Halle Berry, Anna Paquin, and James Marsden return to reprise the roles they played in the previous two X-Men films, with Kelsey Grammer and Vinnie Jones joining the cast as Beast and Juggernaut respectively. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

I enjoyed this movie once through, but I think it's by far the weakest in the series. I even ended up buying the DVD when it came out, but I have yet to feel the desire to watch it a second time.

THIS IS THE WEAKEST OF THE SERIES, I THINK, AND MORE BELLS AND WHISTLES TO DISTRACT FROM THE WEAKER STORY. STILL, IT'S FUN AND ENTERTAINING ENOUGH WITH THE INTERESTING CHARACTERS AND THEIR CHALLENGES.

We enjoyed the first 2 in the series, but this one seemed rush to "end". And now, speculation is that there will be a 4th X-Men. We'll watch it. I agree, Kelsey Grammer seemed out of place in this movie. He showed his Frasier side a few times.

Great movie and a great way to finish off the trilogy!

It was pretty good, and I'm glad I saw it as it helped close the story line created by the movies. However, I found it sad and a little disturbing in some parts, so I doubt I'd want to watch it over again anytime soon. I am looking forward to the pre-quel next, with the X-Men Origins movie.

Liked all the special effects. Good movie - especially if you follow all the previous made movies on X men with this one.

The X-Men movies are my only contact with the X-Men concept, not the comics or anything else. The first part was just amazing; the second was worth my time. I had great expectations from the third, but I was disappointed. Some parts of the movie could've been slicker rather than kind of dragged out.

This is the worst X-men film so far... it is way too short and the story is lame. I didn't like how they killed Professor Xavier (seemingly) and Cyclops, or how they did not return Nightcrawler. The story should have been something epic and exhilarating, like the Sentinels, Apocalypse or Phoenix Saga. Characters like Forge, Bishop, and Cable could have been added. This film is a disgrace to the X-Men comics. They are leaning way too hard on Magneto'a and Mystique's characters, they have been on all three films not any other brotherhood characters like Toad, Sabretooth, or Blob. Sucks.
