It's funny how travel will open your eyes to the world. I am not terribly educated regarding the life and activities of Che, but this story of his early life opens your eyes to the suffering of the indigenous people of South America. The acting was top notch. The story follows the diaries of Che Guavara and his friend Alberto Granado when they were in their 20s back in 1952 and took "The Mighty One", an old beat up motorcycle and began a journey across South America. How they and their thoughts and feelings change during that journey through the events they lived and people they met along the way, including the leper colony in the Amazon where they both volunteered is what the movie is all about. The Special Features are wonderful as well - in particular the interview with Alberto Granado his friend he traveled with who is shown with his wife and children & grandchildren as he is today is the cherry on the cake on this DVD. I cannot review this without also mentioning the wonderful soundtrack..just perfection. I would highly recommend this movie to all. Close this ReviewWAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

It was a very moving movie. The acting is great, the scenery is beautiful and it gives you a whole different view on life. It opens up your eyes to the injustice and oppression that many people face and that many people just don't care about or don't want to deal with. This is a story that should leave the viewer thinking long after the movie ends. The movie is very entertaining but it also provides insight into a major figure in the 20th century through solid storytelling and acting. Very good. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

This movie is worth watching for the scenery alone.
It also has a great deal of entertainment and educational value.
On the minus side having to read subtitles bugged me a bit.

Fell asleep every 5 minutes. Boring....boring....boring.....I would rather watch C-Span at 2AM....more excitement there. Definitely not worth it. Not sure why all the good reviews? WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes
