It's funny how travel will open your eyes to the world. I am not terribly educated regarding the life and activities of Che, but this story of his early life opens your eyes to the suffering of the indigenous people of South America. You truly feel the anger and rage that would change the young Che into the revolutionary he became. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

The acting was top notch. The story follows the diaries of Che Guavara and his friend Alberto Granado when they were in their 20s back in 1952 and took "The Mighty One", an old beat up motorcycle and began a journey across South America. How they and their thoughts and feelings change during that journey through the events they lived and people they met along the way, including the leper colony in the Amazon where they both volunteered is what the movie is all about. The Special Features are wonderful as well - in particular the interview with Alberto Granado his friend he traveled with who is shown with his wife and children & grandchildren as he is today is the cherry on the cake on this DVD. I cannot review this without also mentioning the wonderful soundtrack..just perfection. I would highly recommend this movie to all. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

It was a very moving movie. The acting is great, the scenery is beautiful and it gives you a whole different view on life. It opens up your eyes to the injustice and oppression that many people face and that many people just don't care about or don't want to deal with. You learn why Che Guevara does what he does when he grows up. Definitely recommend it. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No
