I liked the movie from the beginning, but it left me wondering. Is there going to be a second movie or a series of the Golden Compass? If this is the case I give it 5 stars. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

Certain ... Read MoreI am a huge fan of the His Dark Materials trilogy. I loved every part of the book, and was extremely thrilled to see the movie. But from the very begining, I notice things were a little off. Certain parts were out of order, certain parts never even happened in the book, and many parts were missing. The storyline was generally similar, though alot of the details were absent. The ending in the movie was abrupt, and did not include almost all of the key events that the ending of the book had. Not only were the little details missing, but the big climax that the story builds up to was as well. I was severely disappointed, and do not recommend this movie to anyone who has read the book. I will never see this movie. The writer is openly athiest. This movie is about killing God. It is a true sign of the times and should be considered a dangerous movie. Don't let your kids see it. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes
