Real eye opener. Even if, as other reviewers say, it was inaccurate, it still shows how he changed the way we were thinking in terms of our sexuality. Loved the line when he's interviewing people and the young newlywed woman says "You mean there's more than one position?" Laugh my butt off. Very informative. Before you rent the movie, do some research, and you'll see that Mr. Kinsey was nothing more than a very troubled sexual sado-masochist who illegally experimented by subject unwilling participants to unwanted sexual contact. Read More Contrary to those who say that Kinsey is not for children, I believe it would be suitable for anyone who has a thirst for the information, age notwithstanding. Remember, many of the adults who were interviewed by Dr. Kinsey were children when they were first screwed up by our sexophobic society. I thought it was well done, and while I agree with other reviews that say it only gave highlights, I feel the important ones were addressed and flowed together well. If you want to see a movie that is different, interesting, and fun, rent this one. I admire his courage of taking up a controversial but important issue of our every day life. I found even I wish Dr. Kinsey would talk about something else! This movie was tastefully done and I agree with another review that said to watch this only around people you are comfortable with! I was glad to be seeing this at home instead of in the movie theater.
