I agree with other reviewers that it was not something you want to watch with children, your parents, or anyone you are not extremely comfortable with. Read MoreI enjoyed this movie, but I would recommend watching the documentary also titled "Kinsey" prior to seeing this movie. It really shed light on Kinsey the human. The knowledge the documentary provided helped me to better accept the less acceptable aspects of Kinsey the movie and man. Having read the negative reviews, they seem to come from not understanding who Kinsey was and why he was the way he was. They also seem to be the same sort of mentality that tried to prevent any education about sex that didn't involve socially driven myths. So, watch the documentary and then this movie. What a wonderful story, about a brilliant man.
I hope everyone sees this, i missed it when it initially came out, and regret that.
