Read More I agree that Tom Hanks did a good job in reinventing himself for this movie and there was about 15 - 30 minutes of laugh-out-loud comedy. The rest of the hour and a half I was glancing at the clock wondering when it would end. Yes, it's a good family movie, there is no violence, and the language is mild. There is a typical Hollywood happy ending where everything wraps up nice and neat, but when all was said and done I was left with a feeling of "what's the point?". Read More This movie is about a man from Europe who falls through the American cracks and is told to stay in the airport until his immigration forms are valid. The reason for his visit to NY is kept a secret until the end when we learn about a promise made to his father. I laughed throughout this movie and at times felt a little heartbroken for a man who didn't know the language or the customs of our country. I'm sendeing this movie back ASAP so that other people can enjoy!! Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No | ||
