Kill Bill volumes 1 & 2 are my favorite movies of all time! Some people don't appreciate them because they like the same old action movies with no story! Kill Bill rocks! 10 out of 10. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

Parts I and II must be viewed in sequence as they are really one movie. Too long in one piece since it (they) are essentially a spoof on the Hong Kong kung fu movies and would have been tiring to view in one setting. I like throw away movies. These are top of the line examples. Watch the movie, no thinking required. See one of your least favorite "stars" get killed. Caradine is one of mine, ranking after Alec Baldwin.

Vol. 1 was an okay movie, but Vol. 2 was excellent. A highly entertaining movie. I was beginning to question Tarrantino after Vol. 1 but he proved me wrong this time around. Excellent! WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

Read MoreIn Vol. 2, the surviving characters are more articulate. Now that the core of the story has been layed out in Volume 1, the story itself and it's characters become more real. The two films form a magnificent two-part ode to the grind-house flicks that have long owned his heart. In volume two we now detect in Uma a deeply yearning heart and a powerful maternal instinct that is her driving force. Carradine of Kung Fu fame of the 70s who plays Bill & barely seen in volume 1 (kind of like Charlie was in Charlie's Angels), is in this film more visable Close this ReviewWAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Read MoreI decided to rent "Kill Bill Vol. 2" after it got a couple of Golden Globe nominations (mistake #1). Then I decided that I should probably watch "Vol. 1" first, so I rented them both (mistake #2). This was four hours of my life that I could have spent more enjoyably having a root canal. Gratuitous violence at its worst, and mind-numbingly bad acting passed off as a stlyish homage to a genre of film that deserves no such reverence.
Uma should have done us all a favor by "killing Bill" in the first five minutes, sparing us the rest of this pointless horror. Or better yet, kill that spoiled brat of a director before he gets a chance to assault us with his next project. Tarantino fans will probably claim that I just don't "get him." Fine. If it's "hip" to appreciate such blatantly bad film making, then I'm perfectly happy to be considered "square." Close this ReviewWAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes
