Indeed hard to watch but most great movies are and as in this case the story is original and the plot is a mystery. The acting is superb and the direction is really inventive and each scene is intricately woven together taking us to unexpected places. These are some of the elements that make a good movie and I guarantee you this one is unforgettable.

Holy surrealism! Quite bizzare but good story. Often hard to watch - not one but TWO very violent and graphic rape scenes. This ones preaching - but most likely to the choir.

I'm sorry, but this movie was just plain horrible. I couldn't even stomach it halway through. The only reason why I actually managed to watch it 'til the end was because I figured it was already paid for; I might as well see what wasted money got me. Anyway, the bulk of this film revolves around the fact that she is completely obsessed with a guy named Shane. Though she gets pregnant some thirty minutes into the movie, the pregnancy isn't really dealt with until almost at the very end -- and then it's kept pretty minimal. What really threw me off was the Frances character (her name is never even mentioned). What in the world does she have to do with the story, and more imporantly, what does she have to offer Jessie's character, besides an apparent one-time lesbian relationship? One and a half star for effort, though please don't waste your afternoon watching THIS.
