Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is the longest book in the series, yet the film is the shortest one in the series. This makes me drop my jaw and sigh every time I think of it because I'm a huge fan of the books. The movies weren't too bad until this one clocked in. The Order of the Phoenix book is longer than the first two books combined and the first two movies clock in about five hours on screen. Whoever wrote the script from the book should be slapped and kicked. I know its impossible to get in everything from the book, but this was a completely horrible adaptation. Its almost as if they through this movie together real quick just to make a buck with no care for the story. Let's hope the last two movies do not follow in the fifths footsteps, so they don't obliterate the film series.

Poor Harry is getting a true taste of adolescence. Not only is he fighting a dark lord that has been haunting him since birth, but he also gets a taste of adolescent betrayal and the chance to realize that we all do what we can with what we've got. Luckily, Harry's friends are (as usual) up to the task to help him through his personal demons so he can deal with the real one, "he who must not be named".

I liked this Harry Potter movie the best. Mainly because the cast is getting older and plus theres more violence and stuff. I also like Emma Watson as Hermione Granger.... Ralph Fiennes did an awesome job as Lord Voldemort..... which is another reason why i liked it becuz they show what Harry is up against the other movies they just mostly talk about YOU KNOW WHO or whatever..... Its definitely not for kids to watch by themselves...... because of the violence and voldemorts ugly scary face!! Well the next movie prolly will be better than this one... great movie

Yates & goldenberg did not do this story justice. The only following to the book was very loose with umbridge. My least favorite of the 5. My 11 & 13 yr old boys wouldn't watch it twice.
