Its rare to see a good horror remake but heres one. Same director as 300 so cant realy go wrong. My only complaint is that it is lacking the gore of the original 3. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

Read MoreA favorite actor of mine is Ving Rhymes and he plays the tough cop in this one. The movie is pretty gory and there is a overload of characters in the movie. A difference in this movie is that the zombies are wicked fast that surprised me and I liked it. There is some good comedy and a dramatic ending. A remake of a classic that not only doesn't suck, it stands side by side with Romero's amongst the giants of the zombie horror genre! The editing alone is worth the price of the rental. A must-own. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

Read MoreI hate to be someone who says you have to follow the rules, but the horror movie genre is one that is full of rules. Especially when you talk of horror movies that involve the classics: vampires, zombies or warewolves. Zombies are slow moving, methodical (undead) creatures that have one mission, eat human flesh. In this movie they are strong, fast, calculating creatures... The only rule this movie kept in mind was destroying the brain destroys the zombie. This movie just broke to many rules and the only worthwhile part of the movie is to watch Ving Rhames play his usual bad ass self, still thinking he is playing Marcellus Wallace from Pulp Fiction...
