Not many times does a sequel surpass its original but this one does. The story remains true to the original which is key. Pretty cool how they connect Matt from the first movie to the new mutant ... Pretty cool how they connect Matt from the first movie to the new mutant zombie and how the ending turns out. New characters, besides Milla Jovovich, and this movie has better comedy. I really do enjoy this movie. It may well be one of the "bad movies" that I will end up owning.

And it's not necessarily because it's a good movie. The acting was a bit.. so-so at times.. and some of the cutting for "action" really showed that.
But overall none of the acting was really bad; some of it quite good. Zombies can quite fun. And who doesn't like scrappy tomboy action hero? Ok maybe a lot of people.. I dunno.
It's a movie to just sit back and relax too. It's sorta in league with movies like Ultraviolet and The Fifth Element. (odd that the lead plays in all three).. but either way..
Take that however you will.
I'll call it.. slightly above mediocre but for some reason I enjoy this movie. Close this ReviewWAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

This is one sequel that shouldn't have been made. It's the kind of film that shows sparkling previews but comes acrosss about as exciting as wet fart. The script is horrible , the charactors are dull ,the acting is choppy, and features the worst editing I've ever seen , on a film. Milla Jovovich must have recieved some handsome incentatives , to do this one. Probably a 70 percent cut , of the gross. Looking at her act , in this film was kinda sad. She has done some wonderful films with wonderful acting. Unfortunately , she couldn't save this one film , from being one of the worst I've seen , since " Spawn ". So , unless you're a pimply faced adolecent with a hunger for cheap violence and even cheaper cgi , I'd stay away from this film , with a vengeance. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes
