That was the only impressive thing about the film. The acting was very good, but the film itself was just plain silly. I was rolling my eyes halfway through, saying this has to get better. Read More This is the kind of movie one either "gets" or doesn't, depending on one's inner knowledge . Sensitivity to how one affects people through one's own words and deeds, how we are all interconnected, and how reactive we are, is what this movie is trying to convey. Very enlightening. If you're one of the few, excellent. Please don't give this film 4.5 stars then imply anyone not enjoying it is an E! watching, Adam Sandler fan. I studied philosophy, too. If a reincarnated Plato, Decartes and Sophocles saw the movie, at least two of them would press "Eject Disc" in the first hour. Nihilism doesn't redeem a bad movie. Read More Major looser includes bad script, stellar cast with nothing to do and they do it! - a lousy, lousy film - another rip-off for poor average Joe film fan. When is this garbage going to stop getting on the silver screen? Film rambles on unmotivated, with no plot, story, or direction a mishmash of hurly-burly sophomoric excrement spinning in ever-never land. Some of my favorite actors in a nothing script released by no talent directors with deep pocket nepotistic producers (how does that happen?) . There are plenty of outstanding movies standing in the wings waiting for distribution. Show us something we can enjoy. After all It's called entertainment! The tenets of this film have all been done before, and probably done better. Save yourself from this psuedo artistic film, a disjointed romp of pompous film making if ever there was one.
