I LOVED IT THOUGH, IT TELLS A VERY TRUE AND EMOTIONAL FACT! I HAVE READ SEVERIAL REVIEWS AND FELT THAT MAYBE PEOPLE NEED TO TAKE MORE TIME TO READ THE DESCRIPTION OF A FILM BEFORE THEY SET THERE CHILDREN INFRONT OF A SCREEN, AND THEN COMPLAIN ABOUT THE OUTCOME OF THE CHILDS REACTION. THE TRUTH IS THAT THIS FILM TELLS OF THE INHUMANE TREATMENT OF THESE BIG CATS AND ALL OF LIFES BEAUTIFUL GIFTS. I FEEL THIS IS A KEEPER AND INFACT I JUST BOUGHT THIS CLASSIC AFTER RENTING IT. IT IS A GREAT EYE OPENER TO THOSE WHO SEEM TO LOOK THE OTHER WAY, INSTEAD OF FACING REALITY... I ALSO RECOMEND WATCHING THE EXTRAS AND DOCUMENTORY INCLUDED! Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? I spent the entire movie in tears. It was nothing but one vicious act of cruelty after another after another, for the entire movie. I've never, ever felt so terrible after a movie. I would not recommend this movie to anyone. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No | ||

Read More This film mostly portrays the everyday reality that some of these animals face and is made for the sole purpose of us humans getting to know that these kind of things happen, and thus force us to act and stop this abuse. So anyone who can't stand this and needs to walk away from the theater because their fairy tale projections are not met, is the ultimate enemy of these beautiful creatures that they wanted to see happy in the first place. Unlike typical Hollywood crap, this project was made to have you think and act on the basis of information you received, and not to leave the theater smiling like a happy idiot while forgetting all about it two days later. It is a film designed to help these animals, and not to have you spend money on useless toys and products associated with this movie, which is a norm for the typical Hollywood happy ending fairy tale. adorable. I suspected what I was in for when "The Bear" was mentioned, but I watched the bear and ended up turning this film off before any more horrible and sad things happened to these beautiful animals. I loved the tigers, but the movie was just too upsetting. I would suggest people support a tiger sanctuary and would not recommend the movie. Even now I feel sad just thinking about it.
