It's a bio of an intriguing fella so I imagine it was difficult to try to reduce his story to 1.5 hours. DiCaprio did a great job. Having unchecked OCD during the 40s & 50s, running an airline, test piloting & designing new airplanes, & having stormy relationships with hollywood starlets - how can you not find this interesting? I learned a LOT about this genius and innovative man. Living in SoCal, we hear the name Hughes a lot, but I never understood his historic background until seeing this excellent movie. Great acting. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

Leonardo was brillant in his acting, but I thoroughly did not like the movie. It ended abruptly and left you feeling strange at the ending. Like...its over??? Definitely not a "feel good movie". Kate Blanchett did do a wonderful job playing Katherine Hepburn though and Leo is always great. It was just the sad story of Howard Hughes and the end, what was that???
