I found the story to be engaging, and loved that it was mostly about Howard Hughes' aviatation career. It would have been hard to do a movie about his entire career, so I think Scorsese choose wisely. The acting was wonderful! DiCaprio really surprised me, and Cate Blanchette was wonderful as Katherine Hepburn. The direction, as always, was top notch, but I wouldn't expect anything less from Scorsese. This movie was extremely entertaining. Leo did a great job potraying this character. While I agree it was long, it was also very good. Definitely recommend! WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

Leo couldn't carry this movie. Cate made her character realistic and unlikeable. Made us have very little empathy for the main character and his struggles as well as successes. Too long of a movie. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes
