I missed this movie when it was shown on TV. I liked the movie, & it gave food for thought. The movie didn't portray Martha Stewart in the most favorable light, and she seems opportunistic, and not very likeable. I respect her, but she might not be a person that I would really like a whole lot. I don't, and never did, really relate to her. Cybill Shepherd did a really good job in this role, but didn't quite come across as believable as Martha. (I felt I was viewing being in Stepford a few times.) Tim Matheson, as Andy Stewart, stole the show who played Martha's long-suffering husband. (Martha, he was a keeper.) Sean Gallagher, as a Young Andy Stewart, did a good job and stole the show as well. Jude Ciccolella, as Martha's Father, was someone I related to a bit more. (He reminded me a bit of my own dad.) According to the movie Martha was pretty much VERY much like him. Martha's mother was pretty much invisible. All in all a good movie, and very much worth seeing.
