It was different and really kept me thinking. I thought the acting was superb, I don't know why this movie has gotten so many bad reviews. Must be from those viewers who were expecting horror, blood, and guts. That stuff is a dime a dozen! This one is a unique film.... Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

Read More The previews try to make this look like a classic horror film, but it turns out to be something completely different. Although it has a strong cast and a somewhat interesting twist at the end, viewers expecting a true thriller are likely to be disappointed. OK for home viewing, but I'm glad I didn't waste money seeing it in the theater. Overall, just so-so. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

The story is quite simple and if you say there is a huge twist in the movie your wrong. There are so many clues out there that tell you the ending to it. I am not saying it is predictable though. I don't like how such a good actor like Adrian Brody plays a retard and the movie felt like they were pilgrims. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

I liked it, and guessed it wasn't a complete horror movie when I read the "If you Like" and saw "The Notebook". I never saw the ending coming, so it got my three stars for not being predictable. Read More If you want to see a movie that has decent acting and the feel for "What is going to happen next", then this is the movie. If you want a movie with a storyline that leads up to a powerful ending that will leave you breathless and looking more movies from this director. Don't waste your time with this one. The story line takes you on a journey that is back in time, brings you into the present while the female star is still in the past but ends the movie scratching your head. This is one of the worst endings I have seen in years, a waste. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

It had a great base idea, but like Shamalon's other latest works, it fell through. The ending was just a huge let down, the acting was far too modern in a movie that was suppose to take place in the 1800's, and it was scary or suspenseful. Unless you are a Night fan, you don't need to watch this film. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

I loved the "6th Sense" and hoped for the same "shock" value. I had this movie figured out within the first 15 minutes. Unfortunately, I sat through the remaining 2 hours. This movie isn't frightening, and it's really not that suspenseful. I keep waiting for another good movie from M. Night Shyamalan....maybe the next one will be!
