Great idea with terrible results. Not only is the acting poor, the characters are one demensional and the scenes alternate between being totally non-believable or just laughablly disjointed. I can't even bear mentioning the ending. DON'T waste your time. If you want a Val Kilmer flick- watch Thunderheart. If you want political intrigue -watch the Manchurian Canadate.
I was really looking forward to this film- I wish someone had warned me away. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

I was wrong. My girlfriend thought the acting was terrible; I think what happened is that the script is so bad, that the actors had no chance not to come across as corny and one dimensional.
Too much of this movie left me confused. Usually, I'm the one who is following the movie and is annoyed by people asking questions who aren't following the plot. This movie left us all wondering what is going on. There are so many holes in the plot and story. I think the makers of this movie thought it was very clever, but in reality, they were most likely just trying too hard (or not hard enough?). Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

You care NOTHING about any of these characters or what happens to them. I always watch to the end hoping a bad film will redeem itself but this one failed miserably. This movie begins at a point where you think "hey, did this start halfway into the movie?" Stick with it and it's quite good, although somewhat predictable. Unfortunately, with what is going on in our government these days, perhaps it is not so far fetched. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

Read More This had to have been the worst movie I have ever seen. It felt as if someone wanted to do a secret service spy film without knowing the first thing about the genre. The cliched super spy dialouge was so jumbled and meaningless that the plot, not that it was that great, was lost completely. The acting had to have been the worst part of this film. Maybe they should have paid Kilmer more because this was not the Kilmer that we all know and love from his performance in Tombstone. This was a kilmer that couldn't get a part at a high school play. I highly suggest skipping this waste of film. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

It is drawn out and a tad predictable. On the flipside it is an excellent dramatization of what is wrong with today's society and politics. I would only recommend this for those who like political intrigue. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

Read More This political/military suspense thriller is also the story of a man's struggle to find and follow the true meaning of the values he was taught by the military. It is the story of how real leaders are honed into weapons to be used by the arbitrary government-du-jour. Val Kilmer gives a glittering performance as an honorable man awakening to the realization that he is taking orders from dishonorable people. Unfortunately, the editing of the film chopped the story to the point of distraction, which is a shame, since all the ingredients were present to create a really great movie. I eagerly await the 'uncut' version. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No |
