The singing will make your heart melt. The way the Phantom loved Christine it is a true romance. Gerard Butler is the Phantom the emotion he shows not only when singing but just talking is mind blowing. I like the stage show but I love this movie and the soundtrack. It's not for everyone. I liked it although the story doesn't follow the original story. Music is wonderful. If you want dialogue, don't rent this one. If you like music, you'll probably enjoy it. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

Music was exactly the same as I feel in love with so many years ago. Only flaw I found in the production is that I would have liked to have seen the actor from the broadway version play the Phantom.
