Read MoreThese stars go to Philip Seymour Hoffman because he stole the show in every scene he was in and made one of the most cut throat villains I have ever seen in a spy movie. I wanted to give more stars but in the end the studio had to hold his character back from being too vicious & realistic to keep the PG13 rating, which made the movie a bit too predictable. Tom Cruise, as usual, plays himself...the sexy, never backed in a corner bad boy who can get out of anything while smiling like a retard tied to a jungle gym. He is joined by Some actors...as usual, who back him up and all his genius plans and wow, he wins! UGH, Hollywood churns out yet another predictable schlock film with the same cookie cutter story. They should have done a real hip story about a scientologist who holds a young girl hostage while trying to convince the free world he is not gay! Id pay to see that...oh I already have! Read MoreThe Bluray I was sent in the mail was in such bad shape I almost did not put it in my 500.00 BD player but my wife insisted.Hey I was told Bluray disk were unscratchable although these looked deliberate because I own some and they are very durable.Anyway we missed approx. .30 minutes of the movie and was able to see the end so in my opinion it was awful, most especially a Bluray with no H.D. Audio. All aside the movie was probably better than I scored. Im just mad at the condition of the movie and they actually thought this thing would play.SHAME ON WHOEVER DID THIS TO A VERY EXSPENSIVE BLURAY DISK!!!!!!!! Close this ReviewWAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Read MoreThis is perhaps the best action thriller I have ever seen. The opening scene is incredibly intense, showing us what is going to happen later in the movie. The effect is to fill the viewer with dread, because we know what Ethan Hunt does not know: it's all going to go terribly wrong. The rest of the movie has more action than any I've ever seen, and Philip Seymour plays the most chilling villain since Hannibal the Cannibal. Tom Cruise's character is much deeper since MI2. The only fault with this movie is that Ethan Hunt's survivability goes beyond suspended disbelief. Close this ReviewWAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes
