I read the book and he left a lot out! But otherwise I still loved it! I was also suprised that David Thewlis ( Remus John Lupin) and Emma Thomson (Professor Trelawney) were in the movie. I certainly enjoyed watching the film, but I would have been happier with 30 to 45 more minutes of plot/story development. As seems to be the general concensus, you might need to read the book to fill in some blanks - and the book is definetly worth reading.
