I absolutely fell in love with the characters. The characters are very real and full of flaws which make them lovable. It is fast paced and very empowering especially for women. The show is addictive and episodes sometimes end on cliff hangers which makes having multiple episodes to watch on a dvd so perfect. I only wish they'd make another season since I liked it so much. Read More This is such a fun and addictive series. The first couple of episodes are a little confusing, but as the story line builds Alias becomes really interesting and extremely addictive. There are times when the missions she goes on are predictable and/or repetitive but the best part about the series is the story line underneath the action and espionage parts. I love how all the characters interact with one another and there's always some new twist you don't expect every couple of episodes.
The only negative thing I can say is that the final season is not as good as the first four, but it's still very good and fun! I highly recommend Alias. A+++++++++ Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No | ||

Read More Certainly one of the best shows of this decade, but there are a few things you'll need to get used to. For some reason, Jennifer Garner usually looks like she's terrified. Her character isn't supposed to be, it's just her. Sydney, her character, is the best hand to hand fighter you'll ever see lose most of the time, even one on one. Half the fights she wins, it's only because of quick thinking, not because she's capable of defeating her more highly skilled opponents. I have no idea how she survived all the years before this show started, why her superiors never sent her back for more training, and why they can't figure out how to give her some kind of weapon so she won't get beaten so often. The last thing that takes getting used to, especially for fans of Bond films, is that most of the Super Cool gadgets she gets are just variations of microphones, data transmitters, or lock decoders. Still, once you get past these shortcomings, the shows are a lot of fun to watch. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No |
